About Me
Hello Bearcats! I am honored to serve the community of La Verne as Assistant Principal at Bonita High School. Prior to coming to BHS, I worked at Lone Hill Middle School as a science teacher and as WEB Advisor. Before my career in education, I worked as an Emergency Medical Technician for Care Ambulance in the city of Seal Beach for six years. I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology through Cal State University, Fullerton, as well as my teaching and administrative credentials through National University. I also obtained a Master’s degree in Education from National University. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my beautiful wife and two children, going to the gym, playing sports, and coaching my son’s baseball and basketball teams. Bonita High School is a place where students can thrive in many ways, from Athletics to Academics to Arts and to Activities, BHS offers something for everyone! Our staff partners with students, parents and the community to provide a top tier educational experience for all, and I am proud to be a part of such a prestigious institution. Aww Yeah Bearcats!
My personal leadership values are centered around service, integrity, communication, emotional intelligence and empathy. I believe that every student is valuable and unique, and with guidance from teachers, staff and parents, has the potential to do amazing things.
