STUDENTS

STUDENTS- The list of Students who qualify for perfect attendance are now posted on the attendance windows. Please stop by and see if you are in the running for the big end of the year drawing!

STUDENTS AND PARENTS- We do not accept drop off/ forgotten items in the front office.

PARENTS

BHS BOOSTERS- will have a meeting today, November 10th at 6:30 PM in the Library.

PARENTS AND STUDENTS- There will be no school tomorrow Friday, November 11th in honor of Veteran’s Day. Thanksgiving break will also begin Monday, November 21st- Friday, November 25th.

PARENTS- Bonita High School is in the midst of a self-study for the purposes of being accredited the by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).  A WASC team of teachers and administrators will be visiting BHS in late January to assess our self-study.  As part of the external evaluation, we are asking parents to participate in a “Parent Survey” whose results will be viewed by the visiting team. You can participate by visiting www.bonitahigh.net and look for the parent survey.

ACTIVITIES

PTSA- Bonita HS Personalized Pavers are now on sale for only $150 each. Have your name engraved on a paver for our “Walk of Fame” in the entrance of the school. Hurry, and purchase your spots in the original “Walk of Fame”! It is a memory that will last for years, so don’t miss out! They also make great Holiday gifts. COLLEGE & CAREER

VISIONARY SCHOLARSHIP- Students are invited to apply for our 2017-2018 Visionary Scholarship. All high school students (grades 9-12) are eligible to apply. ATHLETICS

JV & VARSITY FOOTBALL- will be hosting its banquet on November 29th at Hillcrest at 6 PM. Tickets are $25 each and are due to the Finance Office no later than November 18th.

FRESHMAN FOOTBALL- will be hosting Freshman Football Awards Night in the Student Union on Monday, November 14th in the Student Union. Awards will start at 6:30 PM and there is no charge for admittance. A light dessert will be served.

WRESTLING- Tryouts will be from today, November 7th-11th from 2:45-4:30 PM in the wrestling room.

BASEBALL- will be hosting their 1st Annual Golf Tournament and Banquet on Saturday, December 10th at San Dimas Canyon Golf Course. There are 3 different types of sponsorships ranging from $150 per player to -$1200 per foursome. You can also purchase raffle tickets and sponsor in general. Please email Coach Lopez at sa.lopez@bonita.k12.ca.us for any further information or stop by the front desk for a tournament pamphlet.

CROSS COUNTRY- Season banquet will be this Thursday, November 10th at Hillcrest. Tickets can be purchased at the Finance Office with checks made out to Bonita High School. Athletes who made a Spirit Pack donation can purchase (1) discounted ticket for $5. All other tickets are $20 for anyone planning to attend.

GIRLS TENNIS-The tennis banquet will be held on Monday, November 14th from 6-9PM at the Sierra La Verne Country Club.

GOLF- All returning golfers need to return your xmas tree orders to Mr. Sanchez by Thursday this week.

GIRLS SOCCER- will hold a Parent/Player meeting for all Students who make the team Wednesday, November 16th from 6:15-8:15 p.m.

FIELD HOCKEY- End of the season banquet will be held at Sierra La Verne Country Club (Terrace Room) on November 16th at 6 PM. Each guest is $25 and must be paid to the finance office before November 8th.

BOYS SOCCER- Parent meeting for all players who make the team Monday, November 14th from 6-8 p.m. Details to follow.

WATERPOLO- will be holding its end of the season banquet at Hillcrest on Wednesday, November 30th at 6 PM. Tickets are free for anyone who purchased a spirit pack and $25 for anyone else wanting to attend. Please purchase tickets from the finance office no later than Friday, November 18th.
