STUDENTS
STUDENTS- The list of Students who qualify for perfect attendance are now posted on the attendance windows. Please stop by and see if you are in the running for the big end of the year drawing!
SENIORS- Jostens will be back on campus Friday, October 21st during lunch time to help assist Students in ordering their cap and gowns, announcements, and senior gear. Order your class ring on Friday and get your cap and gown free! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Jostens at 1-800-JOSTENS.
SENIORS- Yearbook is now accepting senior dedication ads. Senior Dedication ads are a great way to personalize the yearbook. Please use the attached form or visit the school website. Dedication space is limited so purchase early.
STUDENTS- Peer Tutoring has started in the library. Hours: Mon – Thurs: 2:45 – 3:45; Tues, Wed: 6:00 – 7:00 PM. No appointment necessary – first come, first served.
STUDENTS AND PARENTS- We do not accept drop off/ forgotten items in the front office.

PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES- parents may schedule a conference with their student’s teacher or counselor by visiting our website, https://bonitahigh.net/ and click on Parent-Teacher Conferences, or email nix@bonita.k12.ca.us, or call 909-971-8220 x2054. This year we are using an on-line scheduler which should make the process for making appointments more convenient for parents.
ACTIVITIES
STUDENTS AND PARENTS- Thursday, October 20th is the California Shake Out. We will have an adjusted schedule to go over our emergency earth quake procedures and conduct our drill. Posted below is the adjusted schedule for this upcoming Thursday.

PTSA- Bonita HS Personalized Pavers are now on sale for only $150 each. Have your name engraved on a paver for our “Walk of Fame” in the entrance of the school. Hurry, and purchase your spots in the original “Walk of Fame”! It is a memory that will last for years, so don’t miss out! They also make great Holiday gifts. COLLEGE & CAREER
PSAT – is today, sophomores will report to the old gym and juniors to the new gym by 7:40 AM. For those students who did not receive a PSAT Student Guide, you may obtain one from Mrs. Powell in the main office.
VISIONARY SCHOLARSHIP- Students are invited to apply for our 2017-2018 Visionary Scholarship. All high school students (grades 9-12) are eligible to apply. ATHLETICS
FIELD HOCKEY- End of the season banquet will be held at Sierra La Verne Country Club (Terrace Room) on November 16th at 6 PM. Each guest is $25 and must be paid to the finance office before November 8th.
BOYS SOCCER- Tryouts will be held November 7th-8th at the soccer fields from 3-4:30 PM.
GIRLS SOCCER- Tryouts will be held October 31st-November 4th on the soccer fields from 2:45-5 PM.
BOY’S BASKETBALL- Tryouts will be held on November 5th from 8-9:30 AM in the new gym.
GIRL’S BASKETBALL- Tryouts will be held on October 25th from 3:45- 5 PM in the old gym.
WRESTLING- Tryouts will be from November 7th-11th from 2:45-4:30 PM in the wrestling room.
SOFTBALL- Tryouts those players that have made the list from tryouts last week and all returners will be continuing try outs October 18th-21st, 3-5 PM at Las Flores Park. For any players who are involved in a fall sport that cannot tryout, there will be separate session at the beginning of February.
