STUDENTS
SENIORS AND JUNIORS- Please note that Thursday, September 1st is the registration deadline for SAT and subject tests. Please visit www.collegeboard.org for more information.
STUDENTS- We will have a makeup day today Friday, September 2nd for parking passes/ off campus passes for both grade levels in room 701 at the start of 5th period. Students with stickers will be permitted to go off campus starting Tuesday, September 6th.
STUDENTS- in need of making up English credits, may apply for the After School English class for remediation of English credits. Classes will meet Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays for 10 weeks starting Tuesday, Sept. 13, from 2:45 – 4:45. Please note that this class is not college prep, please see front desk for applications.
STUDENTS- interested in becoming an after school tutor, please see Mrs. O’Grady in the career center during lunch.
PARENTS
PARENTS- Coffee with the Principal is today Friday, Sept 2nd, 8:00 to 9:00am in the Conference room. Please come and discuss topics on the BHS campus in open forum.
PARENTS- We do not accept drop off items in the front office.
ACTIVITIES
STUDENTS- Homecoming will be Saturday, September 24th from 7-11PM at the Yost Theater in Santa Ana. Tickets are on sale for $45 per ticket with ASB/ $50 without until the end of the day. Ticket prices will continue to go up weekly. Monday, tickets will be $50 with ASB/ 60 without and the last day to purchase tickets will be September 16th.
COLLEGE & CAREER
PSAT Prep- Beginning October 1st, Kaplan’s highly-rated faculty will cover the most important PSAT content and tackle practice problems in 8 livestreaming, one-hour lessons for sophomores and juniors. In addition, students will have access to online study content and detailed explanations to the official PSAT practice test. STUDENTS AND PARENTS-The PSAT will be administered on Wednesday, October 19th during the school day on campus. 10th and 11th grade students may register at the finance office – cost is $28; deadline is Friday, Sept. 16th. See attached for registration and detailed information.
