SENIORS – Please see important senior dates below.
STUDENTS AND PARENTS – There is an opportunity for a Summer SAT/ACT Prep Course at significantly less cost; Bonita HS has partnered with Kaplan Test Prep for a Summer SAT course to be held here at Bonita at half the regular cost – $385. The sessions would run Tuesday-Thursday from June 3rd to offer the course. Please check with your child’s counselor if you are interested.
STUDENTS AND PARENTS – Don’t forget to buy your yearbook. Yearbooks are currently on sale in the Finance Office for $120. Payment should be made in the form of cash or credit card only, thank you.
PARENTS
PARENTS – We are looking for volunteers to help with registration in August. If interested please contact Susie Laubach at 909-596-2620 or chrislauba@aol.com.
PARENTS AND STUDENTS – Graduation is June 9th, 6:00 PM in the Glenn Davis Stadium. All seniors will receive 6 tickets on Friday, June 3rd after checkout. There will not be any tickets for sale. The gates will open at 5:00 PM for ticket holders. Non-ticket holders will be admitted at approximately 6:00 PM. Handicapped seating is on the field with one family member and would require a ticket to be pre-seated. There is no reserving of seats. There will be plenty of extra seating in the end zone. The Ceremony should take about an hour to an hour and half approximately.
PARENTS – Summer School is June 13th thru July 15th from 7:40 AM-1:00 PM. There will be no classes on Monday, July 4th.
ACTIVITIES
SOFTBALL – Softball will be hosting the JV and Varsity banquet Tuesday, June 7th at 6 PM at Villa Tepeyac in West Covina. Tickets are available in the Finance Office for $20 per person. For any further questions, please contact bonitasoftball2016@gmail.com.
SWIM – Awards Banquet will be held on Wednesday, June 1st, at Hillcrest. Doors open at 6:15, dinner served promptly at 7:00. Tickets are $20.00 per person and can be purchased at the ASB office. Last day to purchase is Wednesday May 25th. Any questions feel free to contact Coach Elaine at bonitaswimteam@gmail.com.
D STREET DANCE TEAM – tryouts will be June 2nd & 3rd from 4-6pm and Saturday June 4th between 9am-2pm. Applications are available in the main office and the career center; for more information please see Mrs. O’Grady.
ATHLETICS
CROSS COUNTRY – Captains’ Practices will begin on Monday, June 13th, at Las Flores Park from 6-7am. All returning athletes must update their physicals and register by July 12, 2016.
BASKETBALL – All boys who would like to try out for basketball that did not play this year, please see Coach Godley in room 706 at the end of break any day this week or next for tryout information.
