Jarod D: October Student of the Month
Jarod is an amazing young man who faces diversity every day. Unlike most, he faces it with determination, a sense of humor, and the most contagious smile that you could ask for. As a member of the FAST program, it would be easy for him to take all of his classes with me.
But no… Jarod takes multiple classes, outside of FAST, that are extremely challenging for him. Due to his physical limits, he has to work twice as hard as any other students just to take notes or complete an assignment. Yet he continues to do it, day after day with a positive attitude that most would envy. He takes in new information like a sponge. He never stops trying to improve himself, and gain knowledge in any format. He is truly a good friend and polite young man. Jarod sets an example of what all students should strive to be. I am so fortunate to be his teacher.

Mariah M: October Student of the Month
Mariah is a fantastic student who goes above and beyond what is asked of her. She is hard-working, self-motivated, and puts her best effort in all of her assignments. She is eager to learn and participates at any chance she gets. It is an absolute pleasure to have her in my class!
