“WHAT’S NEW”
SENIORS- There are a few seats available for the SAT examination next Thursday, October 28, on campus for seniors only. If you are interested, please see Mrs. Sullivan by Friday in the office to complete the paperwork – cost is $55.
“BHS NEWS”
PARENTS AND STUDENTS- 10-minute Parent/Teacher conferences will take place via Zoom on Thursday, October 28, from 12:40 PM to 8:00 PM (except 4:00 – 4:40 PM). You may make appointments via the AppointmentPlus site, https://booknow.appointment-plus.com/9qq0bl26/ – site will close on October 27, 3:00 PM . Zoom links will be forwarded upon completion of registration.
PARENTS/STUDENTS– Please be aware that students currently assigned to intervention must still report to intervention the week of Oct 18th. After final grades are submitted, student GPAs will be analyzed for the next quarter. Students will receive new schedules the following Monday, October 25, which will designate whether a student has period 5 intervention or not.
D STREET Friends, Family, and Fans! Come check out the D Street dance concert at the BCA on Thursday October 21st from 6:30-7:15pm. Tickets are now available online at Www.bonitacenterforthearts.
STUDENTS & PARENTS- Our zombie-themed Fall Play, UPRISING, premiers on Thursday, November 4th, continues Friday the 5th, and Saturday the 6th. Doors open at 7 pm, and the show starts at 7:30 pm.
This play contains mature content: such as language, gore, and simulated gunfire.
Presale tickets begin on Monday, October 18.

FRESHMEN, SOPHOMORES, AND JUNIORS- if you ordered school pictures at registration, they are available for pick up at the front desk.
PARENTS- if you need help logging into Aeries.net for your student’s grades, transcripts, attendance and teacher contact information please email Nancy Jensen, njensen@bonita.k12.ca.us for log in information. If you created an account last year, the email address and password you used are still active.

SENIORS– Cal State San Bernardino is hosting several virtual Cal State Apply Workshops now through December 9th. Take advantage of this opportunity to get help on your CSU application! See the attachment for link and more information.

“BHS ATHLETICS”
GIRLS SOCCER- will be having a parent meeting on October 21st at 7:00pm in the library. All interested players please have your parents attend this important informational meeting regarding clearance and covid requirements for tryouts. Tryouts will be November 1-5 from 6-8:30pm.
STUDENTS- The Bonita Wrestling program is holding a wrestling clinic on Saturday, October 23rd. The guest clinician is Coach Mike Clayton. Coach Clayton works for USA Wrestling and runs his own “Session 6” clinics across the country. He will go over moves, goal setting, proper training, nutrition, etc. The clinic is from 9 am to 2 pm in the Bonita wrestling room. The cost is $20 per wrestler and includes one of his training log books.
PARENTS- Athletic event tickets will all be sold ONLINE only. You can purchase your tickets from www.gofan.co and look up Bonita High School events. Tickets will be redeemed on your electronic device at the gate/entrance by our staff member. You will need to show the actual ticket not a screen shot or picture.
