SENIORS AND SENIOR PARENTS- The FAFSA submission window opens October 2nd! The Citrus College Financial Aid Department is hosting a Cash for College workshop, where students and their parents will receive hands-on support completing the 2022-2023 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and California Dream Act Application. The event will take place on Saturday, October 2, 2021 between 9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. ALL students are welcome to attend and do not need to be applying to Citrus College. This will be a great opportunity to get answers to all of their financial aid questions. Please see attached flyer for further details and registration link.

STUDENTS- All cars parked in the Bonita High School Parking lot must have a permit.  Warnings have been given.  Detentions and citations will be written for students who continue to park without the proper parking permit.

Students may not park in Staff, Visitor or Handicapped spots.  Signs will be going up in the parking lot to help students distinguish the senior section of the parking lot from the rest of the parking lot.  Only seniors may park in the spots nearest the school.  Juniors and sophomores should park behind the yellow lines.  See Mrs. Lindsay in the office if you have any questions.




JUNIOR AND SENIOR GIRLS- Are you interested in playing in our Powder Puff football game on October 8th? Come to ASB to get more information and pick up a permission slip. Permission slip and payment will be due Thursday, September 23rd


STUDENTS- Our Starry Night Homecoming will be on October 2nd from 6pm-10pm. There will be a live DJ, pool tables, air hockey, arcade games, lawn games, lounge areas, food, and photo booths.

Tickets are on sale now. They will be $55 for ASB and $60 without. This Friday is the last day to buy tickets at those prices. Ticket prices will increase on September 27th to $65 with ASB and $70 without. And the last day to buy tickets is September 29th. You must have a permission slip completed and approved by the front office before you can purchase your tickets. Permission slips are available in the front office.



Attached is the link to the College Presentation Events for September and October. There is a mix of both online and in-person events. This link will be  updated as more events are scheduled and I will also aim to send you the weekly upcoming events as well.


September College Events:

Cal Poly Pomona, UCLA, and Stanford are hosting online events for Bonita students this month and Cal Baptist University will be sending an admissions counselor to talk with students On Thursday, September 30th during 7th period in the Career Center.

For detailed information on these events and upcoming college events students can stop by the Career Center during lunch or visit bonitabearcats.org -> School -> Student Services -> Career Center.

STUDENTS- Pre-season practices for the wrestling team continue this week, Monday thru Thursday 4-5:30 in the wrestling room. If you are thinking about joining, now is a great time to come and check us out! Always looking for new members, boys and girls, all shapes and sizes!


BOYS SOCCER PROGRAM- There will be a parent meeting on Monday,  September 27th at 7:00pm in the Library. All interested players please have your parents attend this important informational meeting regarding clearance and covid requirements for tryouts.
