Julianna G – April Academic of the Month

Juliana has been a dedicated student throughout her high school career at Bonita High School. In addition to having a 4.4 academic GPA, she adds Field Hockey, Soccer, numerous club involvement, volunteering, choir, volunteers with her church, ASB, just to name a few. Julianna recently went through a rigorous application process for a program called POSSEE to be in the running for a full-ride scholarship to Pepperdine University. Out of 2500 applicants, Julianna was among the 10 students chosen for this scholarship! She will be attending Pepperdine at no cost to her family, as she will be the first in her family to get a college degree. Over the next few months as she finishes her senior year, she will be working with this foundation each month as she prepares for college next Fall.

Jacob A: April Academic of the Month

Jake is an extremely dedicated student athlete, who works hard both on the field and in the classroom. He has acted as great role model for myself and others, by exemplifying hard work. I believe he deserves this recognition because of the hard work and dedication he shows every single day here at Bonita.
