PARENTS

FREE TAX HELP – If you had a job last year, get your taxes electronically filed FREE. Receive your refund within a few weeks. Mrs. Sekhri’s Accounting class is filing free tax returns for students and tax payers with income below $55,000.  Get an intake sheet from Mrs. Sekhri and bring it in along with your W-2, Social Security card, and if possible, a copy of last year’s tax return along with any 1099’s you received.

PARENTS USING REMIND APP – We’re sorry to write with disappointing news. Recently, we learned that Verizon will be charging Remind a new fee that makes it impossible for us to continue supporting free text messaging for anyone who has Verizon Wireless as their phone carrier. Beginning January 28, 2019, students & parents who normally get Remind messages as texts will no longer receive these messages if they have Verizon Wireless as their phone carrier. What can you do? To make sure you continue receiving your messages, download the mobile app or enable email notifications—both of which are free of charge. Please download the mobile app so that you will still be able to receive information regarding your students classes. We will provide any updates that we receive from REMIND.

PARENTS- We do not accept drop off/forgotten items in the front office. If you need to get an item to your student, please coordinate with your child to meet in the school office during break or lunch. We will not be able to make exceptions. We appreciate your understanding.
