STUDENTS
STUDENTS- Mt. SAC Adult Basic Education is offering a FREE Math Workshop to help students prepare for the SAT & ACT examinations. Please see the attached flyer for details.
STUDENTS- Mt. SAC is offering a dual enrollment opportunity for the FIRE 1 course. This would be the first class needed in the Fire Certification and Technology Program and presents an opportunity to earn up to 3 CSU units free. Please see the attached flier for details.

PARENTS
PARENTS AND SENIORS- Make plans to attend the FAFSA Information Night on Wednesday, November 7th, from 6:30-7:30 PM in the Library – see attached.
SENIORS AND PARENTS –If you would like to purchase ad space for your senior in this year’s yearbook, please visit the Bonita High School website and click the “parents” tab or visit www.theyearbookcompany.com for more information. Early bird pricing is until today, Tuesday November 6th and space is limited.
PARENTS- We do not accept drop off/forgotten items in the front office. If you need to get an item to your Student, please coordinate with your child to meet in the Office during break or lunch. We will not be able to make exceptions. We appreciate your understanding.
CAREER CENTER
STUDENTS- An admissions counselor from Azusa Pacific University will be here next Tuesday to speak with students interested in the college. See Mrs. O’Grady in
the Career Center during lunch to sign up for the presentation.
STUDENTS– After school tutoring is now available Monday through Thursdays until 3:45 and Tuesday and Wednesday evenings 6pm-7. For more information please see Mrs. O’Grady in the Career Center.
STUDENTS- Please see Mrs. O’Grady in the Career Center to pick up work permits, tutor applications and sign up for college presentations during intervention and lunch.
ACTIVITES
ALZHEIMER”S AWARENESS VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT- Thursday November 8 is the Alzheimer’s Awareness Volleyball Tournament. Plan to join us at 6:00 for Taco Man, baked goods, awesome raffle prizes, and volleyball games versus San Dimas and the teachers. Come out to support a great cause. Free for all students with an ASB Card. $5 suggested Donation for all others.
DRAMA- In November our Drama Department will present the classic musical Guys & Dolls! Dates for our show are Thursday, November 15th, Friday, November 16th, and Saturday, November 17th. Each evening, doors will open at 7 p.m. and the curtain will open at 7:30 p.m. at the Bonita Center for the Arts. Ticket cost is $15 for BHS students with ASB, $17 for BHS students, and $20 for general admittance.
ATHLETICS
CROSS COUNTRY- The Cross Country banquet will be held at Hillcrest on December 6th at 6:00 p.m. Tickets can be purchased in the finance office beginning next week for $25/person. Families that purchased spirit packs will receive a free ticket.
BOYS WATERPOLO- will be having their team banquet on Wednesday, November 14th at Hillcrest Retirement Community in La Verne. Tickets are $25 per person. The last day to purchase tickets is Friday, November 9th.
FIELD HOCKEY BANQUET-will be Friday November 16th at 6 PM at Sierra La Verne Country Club. Tickets are $25 per person. For players who purchased a spirit pack, your banquet ticket is included with that purchase.
COLLEGE SIGNING DAY- Our Senior students who have committed to 4 year colleges will be signing their letters of intent on Wednesday, November 14th in the New Gym at 9:30 AM.
