ATTENTION PARENTS AND STUDENTS- We have changes to our school calendar in May, please see attached updated calendar for the new compact day and minimum day dates.

STUDENTS

SENIORS- Today is the last day to purchase tickets for Knotts Senior Day on Monday June 4th.  Tickets are on sale in the Finance Office for $75.   This is a great day to enjoy a catered meal with your classmates and a day of fun at Knott’s Berry Farm.

STUDENTS- Phase 2 Summer School class lists are now posted in front of the attendance office windows.

STUDENTS- Our Student parking lot is now full for the 2017-2018 school year. We will not be accepting any more parking permit applications or payments for parking permits.

PARENTS

PARENTS- There is no more Coffee with the Principal this year.  We are in a very busy time of year and we’ll resume next year.

PARENTS- We do not accept drop off/forgotten items in the front office. If you need to get an item to your Student, please coordinate with your child to meet in the Office during break or lunch.

PARENTS AND STUDENTS- Bonita High School is now offering Saturday Academy.  Students can get additional assistance in classes you are enrolled in, recover instruction or get support on assignments that were not fully understood.  Course offerings will change each week, depending on instructor availability.  Be sure to check the web site weekly for classes offered.

ACTIVITIES

 

ALL STUDENTS- planning to attend prom must clear their disciplinary Friday and Saturday schools.  Any student with more than one outstanding Friday or Saturday schools will not be permitted to purchase tickets and attend prom.

 

PROM- Will be Saturday, May 26th from 7 Pm-11 PM at the Seacliff Country Club in Huntington Beach. Tickets are now on sale with Ms. Lohman in the finance office and are $70 per ticket with ASB and $75 per ticket without ASB from April 24th– May 14th. Tickets will go up from May 15th to $75 per ticket with ASB and $80 per ticket without ASB until May 21st. May 21st is the last day to purchase tickets. Tickets will not be sold unless you have a signed permission slip by Mrs. Lindsay in the main office and Mrs. La Manna in the Library.

 

OPEN MIC NIGHT- will be held on May 11th at 6 p.m. in the student union. If you are interested, email Bhopenmic@gmail.com to sign up and receive more information. The deadline to sign up is Friday May 4th.

 

PTSA

 

PTSA SCHOLARSHIP- Bonita Council PTA is offering scholarships to graduating seniors who have donated time to PTA. Additional informational flyer attached. If interested, please print and fill out attached application. Deadline is May 15, 2018 and you can turn in applications to Mrs. Venegas at the front desk.

 

PAVERS- PTSA is still selling Pavers. We will be ending this fundraiser soon. See attached flier for ordering.

June 3 Baccalaureate at La Verne Heights Presbyterian Church at 3:00pm

June 4 Senior Day at Knott’s

June 7 Graduation at Glenn Davis Stadium at 6:00

June 7 Grad Night at Dave and Busters in Ontario, starting at 10:00pm until 5:00am

 

GRADUATION- Senior’s will pick up their cap and gown after they’ve completed their Boards.  Each senior will receive 6 tickets when they check-out with their counselor.  No extra tickets will be given to anyone and we do not sell tickets.  Be sure and ask your senior which side of the stadium they will sit on; Home (north) or Visitor (south)

 

On graduation day the gates will open at 5:00pm for ticket holders and by 6:00pm the non-ticket holders may come in.  There is no seat reserving allowed, Handicap seating is on the track and one member of the person’s family may be seated with them.  There will be plenty of seating in the end zone for non-ticket holders.

 

Please note balloons are not allowed in the stadium.  Seniors are only allowed to wear their school issued graduation regalia.  Other regalia purchased on their own and leis are not allowed.
