Athletics – Cheyanne McLaurin
Cheyanne is our starting post player on the JV girls basketball team. I love Chey as a player because she is always hustling, diving after the loose ball, and sacrificing her body to make the play. She has a great positive attitude and is always trying to motivate her teammates. She is an excellent role model for others because she never gives up.

Athletics – Marcellus Pearson
Young Men like Marcellus are among the reasons that I Love being a teacher. He is respectful, represents his family in the best light, concerned and determined about doing well both academically and athletically, inquisitive, works hard, is a leader, loved by his peers, and he makes me laugh every time he opens his mouth. The only shortcoming I can find is that he’s a Lakers’ fan. “Promised Land”.
