Each year the District uses West Ed to gather feedback on what is working well and what areas you would like to see improved at Bonita High School. Please take a few minutes to complete the survey. STUDENTS
CSF- Membership Application for Spring 2018 is open now and must be completed online. It can be found at http://bit.ly/Spring2018_CSFApp. The application closes this Friday at 3:00 PM, so make sure to apply before then. All past members must reapply for membership each semester. JUNIORS- Interested in taking a tour of Cal State Fullerton? Now’s your chance! On Friday, February 9th, you will have the opportunity to tour the campus, attend workshops on college admissions, financial aid, and educational opportunities, as well as meet with current college students to gain insight on college life. Space is limited to the first 40 students who sign and return permission slip to Mrs. Nix in the office. Permission slips are due by Friday, January 26th.
STUDENTS- Students if you need Free Tax Help, please see Mrs. Sekhri in Room 906.
STUDENTS AND PARENTS- We do not accept drop off/forgotten items in the front office. If you need to get an item to your Student, please coordinate with your child to meet in the Office during break or lunch. See the attached bell schedule for times.

ACTIVITIES
STUDENTS-Glow the Night Away at the Sadie Hawkins Dance. For this dance, it is a tradition that the girls ask their date…so ladies…ask a date, ask a friend, or get a group together for this fun evening. The dance is Friday, February 9th from 7:00 to 10:00 in the New Gym. Permission slips are at the front desk and in ASB. Tickets on sale in the Finance office. Ticket prices are $15 w/ASB and $20 w/o/ASB. Ticket prices go up $5 on Wednesday, February 7. The event is Black Light…so wear neon or white! Here are the links for the permission slips as well.

SENIORS- There are three great scholarship opportunities available to seniors who are current PTA members. First District PTA scholarship opportunity- $750 First District PTA 2018 Commemorative Scholarship. First District scholarship applications are available in the front office. Applications are also available online at http://pta1.org/. All applications for the First District PTA scholarship are to be turned into the front office no later than Tuesday, March 23, 2018. California State PTA scholarship opportunities-1. $750 Volunteer Service Scholarship 2. $500 Dr. Ralph E. White Graduating Senior Scholarship Applications, reference forms and all supporting documents must be received in the California State PTA office by February 1st. CAREER CENTER
CAREER DAY SPEAKERS NEEDED- Wednesday, March 28th between 9am-11am. Please contact Kelly O’Grady as soon as possible if you or someone you know would be interested in being a guest speaker. ogrady@bonita.k12.ca.us. RSVP no later than March 9th.
ATHLETICS
SWIM- will be having a meeting for returning or new student athletes that would like to try-out in the old gym on Wednesday, January 24th at 2nd lunch.
GOLF- For golf tryout information, please stop by and see Mr. Sanchez in room 307 at break or lunch.
BOYS BASKETBALL- is looking for team managers. This will involve coming to games only. Please see Coach Godley in room 706 at break or lunch if interested.
