STUDENTS
SAT PREP CLASS- BHS and Kaplan Test Prep will be holding a SAT prep class in preparation for the March SAT here at BHS. The class will run Tuesday and Thursday evenings starting Tuesday, January 30th through Thursday, February 22nd. Cost is $360.00 and space is limited. Deadline to register is Friday, January 12th. Complete schedule and registration forms are at the front desk with Mrs. Venegas.
SAT/ACT PRACTICE TEST- Juniors and sophomores deciding between the SAT or ACT? Take Kaplan’s SAT and ACT Combo test to help you decide. The test is Saturday, January 13th from 9:00 – 12:45pm at BHS (Room 806 & 807). Cost is $20.00 and the deadline to register is Monday, January 8th. More information and flyers are at the front desk with Mrs. Venegas. Please keep in mind that juniors will have priority registration.
STUDENTS AND PARENTS- We do not accept drop off/forgotten items in the front office. If you need to get an item to your Student, please coordinate with your child to meet in the Office during break or lunch. See the attached bell schedule for times.

PARENTS AND STUDENTS- Final Exam Schedule; Please note that all final exams will occur on the final two days of the semester, Thursday, December 21st (periods 1, 2, & 3) and Friday, December 22nd (periods 4, 6 & 7); both are minimum days with 12 PM release time. The schedule for make-up final exams for legitimate absences will be: for periods 1, 2, & 3, Tuesday, January 9th , period 7 (if open) and after school; for periods 4, 6, & 7, Wednesday, January 10th during period 7 (if open) and after school. All make-ups will be in Room P-1.
ACTIVITIES
YOU’VE BEEN “BAND”- send our wonderful BHS band to serenade your Family or Friends this Holiday season! Choose a day, either December 16th or December 17th from 11 AM- 8 PM both days. Please see the attached flyer for pricing. If you have any questions, please call Yvette at (626) 688-4187.
E-WASTE FUNDRAISER- will be hosted by the band boosters, Saturday, December 16th in the BHS staff parking lot from 9 AM-3 PM. Clean out all your old TV’s, electronics, computers, cellphones, and household items while supporting our Bearcats!

BOYS BASKETBALL- is looking for team managers. This will involve coming to games only. Please see Coach Godley in room 706 at break or lunch if interested.
