SENIORS AND PARENTS- BHS will be offering a Financial Aid (FAFSA) Information Night on Wednesday, November 8th from 6:30 PM-7:30 PM in the Student Union. Information on tips for completing the FAFSA application and the steps to take after submitting the application will be provided. This presentation can be especially helpful to those who have already started the application.
PARENTS OF SENIORS- If you would like to submit a yearbook dedication for your senior at the special early bird discounted price please complete your submission by November 7th . Prices will then go up. For more information on pricing and how to submit your dedication, please visit https://theyearbookcompany.com. Or the school website under the parent tab. Don’t delay, as space is limited.
STUDENTS- Are not allowed to park at the United Methodist Church or Las Flores Park during school hours. Students parking in these areas during school hours may be towed and will be issued a Saturday School. Student lot parking registration is to be completed online only and the permit can be purchased in the Student Store for $40 until our lot reaches capacity.
STUDENTS AND PARENTS- We do not accept drop off/forgotten items in the front office. If you need to get an item to your Student, please coordinate with your child to meet in the Office during break or lunch. See the attached bell schedule for times.

PARENTS- There is no school on November 10th as we will be observing Veteran’s Day.
ACTIVITIES
FALL UP 5K RUN/WALK-The Wrestling Team is hosting their 8th annual “Fall Up 5K Run/Walk” on Saturday, November 11th. We will be starting at Heritage Park and finishing at Lowell Brandt Park. Pre-registration price is $25 and is payable to the Finance Office with Mrs. Lohman. You can pay at the start of the race on the day of for $30. If you would like to join us for a team/family BBQ afterwards, the cost is an extra $5. Registration is at 7-8:30 AM on the day of and the race will begin at 9:00 AM, sharp! You can get a registration form from one of the wrestlers or pick one up in the front office.

Tuesday, November 7th– University of California, Los Angeles/ UCLA ( Los Angeles, CA)
Wednesday, November 8th– Azusa Pacific University (Azusa, CA)
ATHLETICS
GIRLS VOLLEYBALL– banquet will be held on Tuesday, November 28th at 6 PM at Mountain Meadows Golf Course. Cost is $22 per person for family members and it is due to finance office by Monday, November 6th. If paying by check, please make them out to Bonita High School. Please see attached for more information.
WRESTLING-Any Students that are thinking about joining the wrestling team this year, practices begin on Monday, November 6th at 2:45 PM in the Wrestling Room (located in the old gym). Please bring running shoes, workout clothes, and wrestling shoes (if you have them). We are looking for both boys and girls to come out and be a part of our program. Come check it out! Please make sure you have a physical and the online athletic clearance completed.
BOYS SOCCER- tryouts begin Monday, November 6th at 3pm. Please make sure that prior to participation all students have registered online, completed physical/health history form, and be cleared through the athletic department.
FIELD HOCKEY- banquet will be held at Sierra La Verne Country Club on November 9th at 6 PM. Tickets are $25 per person and must be purchased with Mrs. Lohman in the finance office before Thursday, November 2nd.
