JP A: Male Athlete of the Month
JP has done a great job of leading the football team by his actions and words. He works extremely hard in all that he does, both on the field and off. He is a great character athlete that does great things in the right way. JP is a prime example of the Bearcat Way. After 3 games, he leads the entire San Gabriel Valley / Whittier / Pasadena area, in passing yards with 1,013 yards, a 337 per game average, and 7 touchdowns.

Valerie W: Female Athlete of the Month
Valerie is a leader and captain on both the Cross Country and Track teams. She sets an example to the rest of the runners with her hard work and positive attitude. In addition to her Athletics, Valerie is one of the top academic students on campus taking a heavy load of AP classes. She is doing an excellent job in AP Statistics. The quality of her work is outstanding and she is a strong critical problem solver.
