STUDENTS

STUDENTS– Test Prep for upcoming June SAT or ACT:

 

National Practice Test Weekend

 

Take a free SAT vs. ACT Combo Mock Test and see which exam is right for you. Join Kaplan on May 20th or May 21st to try both tests in a Live Online setting. Register at www.kaptest.com/practicetestweekend

This is a great opportunity for rising juniors to get an early sense of which test to prep for and rising seniors can pick a test to take again before submitting applications.

STUDENTS– Summer SAT Prep Class. Sign up now to reserve your seat for the SAT class this summer here at BHS. Spots are filling up and space is limited. Pick up a flyer at the front desk and take to the finance office to sign up. Class runs Tuesdays and Thursdays June 13th through July 11 from 2:00pm – 5:00pm. Cost is $360.00. Deadline to apply is Friday May 19th.

STUDENTSThe “Cool to be in School” contest car give away announcement will be on Saturday, May 20th at the Glendora Chevrolet at 9:00 a.m. There are currently 87 BHS students who have perfect attendance and qualify for the car give away. The perfect attendance list is posted in the front office window.  If your students name is not on the list, and you think that he or she should have perfect attendance, please see Mr. Hanson.

STUDENTSOur World, A Day of Empowerment for Girls Workshop (Grades 6-12) is on Wednesday, May 31st at Lone Hill Middle School, from 3:00pm-6:30pm. Pizza party and check in is at 2:30 pm and the event is FREE. For more information and a permission slip, please stop by the receptionist desk.

JUNIORSIf you are interested in being in the Therapy Dog Training Program for your senior project PACE hours please visit bonitahigh.net/activities/clubs/therapy-dog-training-program/ or stop by room 509 for info. Applications are due Friday, May 12th.

STUDENTSD STREET Tryouts will be June 1-3. Applications are now available in the forms section of the Bonita website and at www.dstreetdance.weebly.com.

STUDENTS AND PARENTSThe Finance office will no longer accept checks as of April 28th for the remaining of the school year. All items must be paid with cash or credit card. If you are a returning student and are purchasing a spirit pack checks will still be accepted.

SENIORS AND PARENTS- Graduation is Wednesday, June 7th at 6:00pm at Glenn Davis Stadium.  The gates will open at 5:00pm.  Each senior will receive six tickets.  If you need more tickets have your senior ask a fellow senior for an extra ticket or at 6:00pm the gates will be opened and guests without a ticket can enter and sit in seats provided at the west end of the field.  There is handicap seating for guests with a ticket and one person from your group may sit with them.

 

SENIORS Senior Day at Knotts is Monday, June 5th.  Tickets are on sale in the finance office for $75 which includes an all you can eat lunch, entrance to the park and transportation to and from the park.

STUDENTS AND PARENTSWe do not accept drop off/ forgotten items in the front office.

 

 

PARENTS

 

PARENTS Summer School 2017 will be held from June 12th– July 14th. We will not be holding classes on Tuesday, July 4th as we will be observing Independence Day. Students are only allowed 3 full day absences before being dropped from the program.

 

PARENTS Just as a reminder, there is no parking or drop off/pick up in the staff parking lot as they are assigned parking spaces.

                  

 

ATHLETICS

STUDENTS & PARENTS– The Swim Banquet is Friday, May 19th at 6:00 p.m. at Hillcrest.  Tickets are $25.00 per person, swimmers that earned a free ticket the list will be in the Finance office.  Last day to purchase is Wednesday, May 17th, the Finance office only accepts cash.

STUDENTS & PARENTS- The Diving Banquet will be held on Sunday, May 21st from 6:00 to 9:00 at the Batoon resident.  The cost will be $10 per person.  Please hand in your money by Friday, May 12 to one of the following: Theresa Batoon, Coach Olivia or Alyssa Batoon.  If you have any questions please contact Theresa Batoon at thebatoon@aol.com.
