STUDENTS–
AP EXAMS:
- All seniors taking an AP exam must report to the gym during period 5 on Wednesday to complete the pre-administration materials for AP exams.
- All sophomores and juniors taking an AP exam will report to the gym during period 5 on Thursday for their pre-administration.
STUDENTS– Citrus college assessments will be held this Friday. Students participating in the priority registration program need to report to the Library at 7:40 am
STUDENTS– PLATT College is hosting a Veterinary Technician Open House as well as a Graphic Design Open House on Saturday April 22nd from 10am-12pm at 3700 Inland Empire Blvd. Ontario. RSVP by April 19th to (909) 941-9410.
STUDENTS– Cheer tryout packets are now available in the front office. Tryout clinics begin on April 20th. Tryouts are Saturday, April 29th. See Mrs. Kniss in room 203 with any questions.
STUDENTS– If you need Free Tax Help, please see Mrs. Sekhri in Room 906.
STUDENTS– National Honor Society membership forms are at the front desk. Applications are due on Friday, April 14, 2017 to Mr. Mullen, room P-2, no later than 3:00pm.
STUDENTS– Looking for ways to prepare for the SAT? Kaplan test prep and BHS are offering an SAT class this summer in preparation for the August SAT. The class will run Tuesdays and Thursdays June 13th through July 11 from 2:00pm – 5:00pm here at BHS. Cost is $360.00. The class runs after summer school classes so you can go to summer school and take the SAT prep class! Pick up a registration form at the front desk and take to the finance office to sign up. Space is limited. Deadline to apply is Friday, May 19th.

Students: Take a free SAT or ACT pop quiz, 20-minute workout, or proctored practice test online, and Kaplan will donate Kaplan course scholarships to students through the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. http://ktp.events/hvlaie
STUDENTS– There are currently 133 BHS students who have perfect attendance and qualify for the “Cool To be in School” contest car give away. The perfect attendance list is posted in the front office window. If your students name is not on the list, and you think that he or she should have perfect attendance, please see Mr. Hanson.
SENIORS– It is now time to register for Grad Nite. Grad Nite will be held at a secret location on the evening of graduation, June 7th. Students will meet back at Bonita at approximately 10:00 pm for an overnight party and will be returning at 5:30 AM. This final evening spent as classmates will include, food, drinks, and fun! Tickets are on sale at the Finance Office for $150 per ticket if purchased before April 1st. Informational flyer is attached. Questions? Email bhsgradnite2017@gmail.com
SENIORS– Senior Breakfast will be held at Knott’s Berry Farm on Monday, June 5th. Tickets are on sale in the Finance Office for $70 per Student and includes transportation and a day at the theme park.

SCHOLARSHIP:
Bonita HS PTSA graduating senior scholarship applications are now available in the career center. The deadline to turn in applications is Friday, April 20.
PARENTS– Summer School 2017 will be held from June 12th– July 14th. We will not be holding classes on Tuesday, July 4th as we will be observing Independence Day. Students are only allowed 3 full day absences before being dropped from the program.
PARENTS– Just as a reminder, there is no parking or drop off/pick up in the staff parking lot as they are assigned parking spaces.
ACTIVITIES
JUNIORS AND SENIORS– Prom will be held Saturday, May 13th at the Huntington Harbour Yacht Club. There will be more details to follow.
