STUDENTS- The lost and found is over flowing. If you are missing something, please come to the front desk, otherwise we will be donating everything on Friday, March 24th.

                      STUDENTS AND PARENTSAnatomy is hosting a blood drive with City of Hope hospital on Monday, March   27th from 12-6pm in the old gym. Open to the public. Permission slips required for all students. See Mrs. Black in 509 or any anatomy student for permission slips and details. Come out and save a life!
STUDENTS AND PARENTS- Students in AP classes can now register for their AP exams in the Finance Office; each exam is $93.  Please remember that all students enrolled in AP classes are expected to sit for their exams; payment plans are available to help manage the costs.  Registration closes on March 22nd
STUDENTS- There are currently 133 BHS students who have perfect attendance and qualify for the “Cool To be in School” contest car give away.  The perfect attendance list is posted in the front office window.  If your students name is not on the list, and you think that he or she should have perfect attendance, please see Mr. Hanson.
 
SENIORS- It is now time to register for Grad Nite.  Grad Nite will be held at a secret location on the evening of graduation, June 7th.  Students will meet back at Bonita at approximately 10:00 pm for an overnight party and will be returning at 5:30 AM. This final evening spent as classmates will include, food, drinks, and fun!  Tickets are on sale at the Finance Office for $150 per ticket if purchased before April 1st. SENIORS- Senior Breakfast will be held at Knott’s Berry Farm on Monday, June 5th. Tickets are on sale in the Finance Office for $70 per Student and includes transportation and a day at the theme park.
STUDENTS AND PARENTS- The Bonita High School Jazz Ensemble and special guests from the Bonita Choir Program are proud to present the 26th annual Swingin’ With The Big Bands This year’s program is set for Sunday, March 26th, 2017 at 4pm (doors open at 3pm).  The concert is held at the beautifully refurbished and legendry Fox Theater on Garey in downtown Pomona.  Light hors d’oeuvres and non-alcoholic drinks are included in the ticket price and there will be dancing and great raffle prize drawings.  Tickets are $20 and can be purchased from any Jazz Band Member, from Mr. Bird or at the door.   
STUDENTS AND PARENTS- The 6th Annual Regional High School Art Exhibition will take place from March 4th-30th. Their art work has been selected to be on display at the Millard Sheets Art Gallery located at the Fairplex.

Just a reminder that Bonita PTSA is having a eWaste fundraiser this weekend. Please tell your family, friends and classmates.  Thank you for showing your support to our PTSA.
 
 
SCHOLARSHIP:
Bonita HS PTSA graduating senior scholarship applications are now available in the career center. The deadline to turn in applications is April 14.
PARENTS- Spring recess is April 3rd– April 7th. Students will return to school on Monday, April 10th which is a compact day, 1:35 PM release.
PARENTS- Summer School 2017 will be held from June 12th– July 14th. We will not be holding classes on Tuesday, July 4th as we will be observing Independence Day. Students are only allowed 3 full day absences before being dropped from the program.
 
PARENTS- Just as a reminder, there is no parking or drop off/pick up in the staff parking lot as they are assigned parking spaces.
                  
ACTIVITIES
STUDENTS- Spirit Banquet tickets are on sale NOW! Banquet will be held on Thursday, April 13 at 6:00PM at Hillcrest Meeting House, 2705 Mountain View Drive, La Verne. Tickets are $25 per person. Please purchase your tickets through the Finance Office. Last day to purchase tickets is March 22nd.
JUNIORS AND SENIORS- Prom will be held Saturday, May 13th at the Huntington Harbour Yacht Club. There will be more details to follow.
 
ATHLETICS
BOYS BASKETBALL Banquet tickets are on sale NOW! The banquet will be held on Monday, March 27th at 6:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Meeting House, 2705 Mountain View Drive, La Verne. Tickets are $25 per person and checks should be made payable to Bonita High School. Please purchase your tickets through the Finance Office. The last day to purchase tickets is Wednesday, March 22nd.
TRACK- Practice is Monday thru Friday from 3-5pm at the track.
