STUDENTS
STUDENTS- Students if you need Free Tax Help, please see Mrs. Sekhri in Room 906.
STUDENT- There are currently 178 BHS students who have perfect attendance and qualify for the “Cool to be in School” contest car give away. The perfect attendance list is posted in the front office window. If your students name is not on the list, and you think that he or she should have perfect attendance, please see Mr. Hanson.
STUDENTS-CSF applications are available on Bonita’s website or in room 208 with Mrs. Redman. Applications must be turned in every semester with a copy of their report card or transcripts attached. The last day to turn in applications is this Friday, February 3rd.
SENIORS- It is now time to register for Grad Nite. Grad Nite will be held at a secret location on the evening of graduation, June 7th. Students will meet back at Bonita at approximately 10:00 pm for an overnight party. Bussing will be provided. Students will return to school at approximately 5:30 am. This will be an evening to spend together as a class. Lots of fun, food and entertainment. Don’t miss out. Informational flyer is available on the Bonita website. Tickets are on sale at the Finance Office for $150 per ticket if purchased before April 1st. If tickets are still available after April 1st the price will be $175 per ticket. SENIORS- Senior Breakfast will be held at Knott’s Berry Farm on Monday, June 5th. Tickets are on sale in the Finance Office for $70 per Student and includes transportation.
SENIORS- be sure to take advantage of PTA scholarship opportunities. There are three levels of PTA scholarships available to you at the state level, district level and here at Bonita High School. Deadlines are approaching fast. Applications can be picked up in the career center or online at the following links.

$750 Volunteer Service Scholarship. Deadline February 1, 2017, $500 Dr. Ralph E White Graduating Senior Scholarship.
First District PTA scholarship: www.pta1.org Deadline for submission is February 28, 2017 to the Bonita High School Career Center.
Bonita High School PTSA scholarship: Information will be posted in the career center January 2017.
STUDENTS AND PARENTS- We do not accept drop off/ forgotten items in the front office.
PARENTS
PARENTS- As a reminder, there is no school on Monday, February 13th as we will be observing Lincoln’s Birthday. Also there will be no school the following Monday, February 20th as we will be observing Presidents’ Birthday.
PARENTS AND STUDENTS- Our Spring recess will be April 3rd– April 7th. Students will return to school on Monday, April 10th which will be a compact day, 1:35 PM release.
PARENTS- Summer School 2017 will be held from June 12th– July 14th. We will not be holding classes on Tuesday, July 4th as we will be observing Independence Day. Students are only allowed 3 full day absences before being dropped from the program.
PARENTS- Just as a reminder, there is no parking or drop off/pick up in the staff parking lot as they are assigned parking spaces.
ACTIVITIES
JUNIORS AND SENIORS- Prom will be held Saturday, May 13th at the Huntington Yacht Club. There will be more details to follow.
ATHLETICS
TRACK- All Students interested in joining our BHS Track Team, please meet at the track on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, or at Las Flores Park on Wednesday and Friday. Practices are from 3-5pm Monday thru Friday. Also, there will be a Parent meeting on Tuesday, February 7th at 6 PM in rooms 307 and 308.
