Bonita High School is proud to congratulate Gabe Sanchez, Social Science teacher and golf coach for receiving the CIF-SS Champion for Character Award. Mr. Sanchez has been the Varsity Golf Coach for 17 years and won 4 league championships. He has had 16 CIF-SS post season appearances. Through out his career Mr. Sanchez has chosen character over victory even removing a starter over a cheating incident. He is dedicated to improving the character of his athletes and cares deeply about his players by striving to foster their personal improvement, sportsmanship and teamwork. His success is best measured not in wins but in the fine young men who have played for him and become successful in their endeavors.
