TARDIES– As we start our 2nd semester, we wanted to go over the school tardy policy once more. In the Student handbook it states “A parent or legal guardian may clear three tardies (lates) to school per semester. The fourth (4th) tardy will result in a detention and will not be cleared. After the fifth (5th) tardy, a Saturday School will be issued.”. We will be assigning Saturday schools for five (5) tardies or more. However, if your student is late to school due to a medical, dental or court appointment, the student should bring proof of appointment so the tardy can be cleared and the note should be turned into Ms. Zago directly at attendance. Please keep in mind that if your student is issued a detention during a tardy sweep, and has not used all 3 tardies available to them, they may clear it with Ms. Zago at attendance.
