Bonita High School Baseball team claimed the SoCal Tourney Championship with a 1-0 win over the Etiwanda Eagles. Part of Bonita’s success can be attributed to strong pitching from senior, A.J. W. “In the 10 years I’ve been at Bonita, A.J.’s start was as good as anyone’s,” Bonita coach John Knott said. “The efficiency, command, ability to pitch in and mix his pitches. I just thought it was great.”
Baseball’s strong 5-0 start has won recognition from the LA Times which has them ranked in the top 15 teams in Southern California.
