STUDENTS- Mt. SAC Adult Basic Education is offering a FREE Math Workshop to help students prepare for the SAT & ACT examinations. Please see the attached flyer for details.
STUDENTS- Mt. SAC is offering a dual enrollement opportunity for the FIRE 1 course. This would be the first class needed in the Fire Certification and Technology Program and presents an opportunity to earn up to 3 CSU units free. Please see the attached flier for details.

PARENTS AND SENIORS- Make plans to attend the FAFSA Information Night on Wednesday, November 7th, from 6:30-7:30 PM in the Library – see attached.
PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCES- Please visit www.bonitahigh.net to schedule appointments with your child’s teachers. Conferences take place, Thursday November 1st from 12:40 – 7:50 PM. Appointments must be scheduled on-line according to the available slots. If you encounter problems accessing the site, you may call Mrs. Nix at 909-971-8220 x2054.
SENIORS AND PARENTS –If you would like to purchase ad space for your senior in this year’s yearbook, please visit the Bonita High School website and click the “parents” tab or visit www.theyearbookcompany.com for more information. Early bird pricing is until Tuesday November 6th and space is limited.
PARENTS- We do not accept drop off/forgotten items in the front office. If you need to get an item to your Student, please coordinate with your child to meet in the Office during break or lunch. We will not be able to make exceptions. We appreciate your understanding.
STUDENTS- The following schools will be visiting the Career Center this week. Please sign up with Mrs. O’Grady’s sub, Ms. Mireles-Torres if you are interested in attending their presentation. Keep your eye out for fliers with the list of schools coming for the month.

STUDENTS- After school tutoring is now available Monday through Thursdays until 3:45 and Tuesday and Wednesday evenings 6pm-7. For more information please see Ms. Mireles-Torres in the Career Center.
STUDENTS- Please see Ms. Mireles-Torres in the Career Center to pick up work permits, tutor applications and sign up for college presentations during intervention and lunch.
DRAMA- In November our Drama Department will present the classic musical Guys & Dolls! Dates for our show are Thursday, November 15th, Friday, November 16th, and Saturday, November 17th. Each evening, doors will open at 7 p.m. and the curtain will open at 7:30 p.m. at the Bonita Center for the Arts. Ticket cost is $15 for BHS students with ASB, $17 for BHS students, and $20 for general admittance.
BHS BLOOD DRIVE- We will be hosting a City of Hope blood drive on Tuesday, October 30th from 1:00pm-7:00pm in the Student Union. You can sign up online at idonateblood4hope.org Use the code: BHSL
WRESTLING FUNDRAISER- Our wrestling team invites you to come support the Bearcats at the flame broiler in La Verne next to Vons Today thru the 25th (all day) and order a lunch or dinner and we will receive 25% of the sales. Please see the front desk for fliers.
BOYS WATERPOLO- will be having their team banquet on Wednesday, November 14th at Hillcrest Retirement Community in La Verne. Tickets are $25 per person. The last day to purchase tickets is Friday, November 9th
FIELD HOCKEY BANQUET-will be Friday November 16th at 6 PM at Sierra La Verne Country Club. Tickets are $25 per person. For players who purchased a spirit pack, your banquet ticket is included with that purchase.
COLLEGE SIGNING DAY- Our Senior students who have committed to 4 year colleges will be signing their letters of intent on Wednesday, November 14th in the New Gym at 9:30 AM.
