STUDENTS 
STUDENTS – The 5th Annual Regional Art Exhibition, ArtReach 2016: The Art of Metaphor, will be taking place March 5th-31st from 6-9 PM at the Pomona Fairplex. For additional information, please visitTLCfairplex.org/art.
STUDENTS & PARENTS- Summer school phase 1 registration will open March 7, online. Information flyers are available at the front desk.
STUDENTS- Battle of the Bands will be March 10th at 6:30 PM in the Student Union. 
STUDENTS – Can’t make it to the game Saturday? Bonita PawPrint will be live tweeting the game. Follow hashtag @PawPrint_BHS and check the hashtag #pawprintsports. 
STUDENTS – The Finance Office will be closed Friday, March 4th.
STUDENTS – Registration for AP exams has been extended to Monday, March 7th.  Permission slips must be signed by your parents and turned into the Finance office along with your payment.  Fee reduction forms are available for students in the Free/Reduced lunch program.  There is a fee of $15 for each canceled test.  Any questions regarding payments, exams or fee forms, please see Ms. Castro in the Office. 
STUDENTS – Did you have a job last year?  The accounting kids can do your taxes for free. Please see Mrs. Sekhri in room 906 for more information.
STUDENTS – Spring Show “The Mouse that Roared” is March 3rd, 4th, and 5th.  The show will take place at the Bonita Center for the Arts: 822 W Covina Blvd, San Dimas, CA 91773
STUDENTS AND PARENTS – Don’t forget to PREORDER your yearbook.  Yearbooks sell out every year. $100 with ASB/$120 without.  Payment should be made to the finance office.
SENIORS – Grad Nite 2016…..”A Nite at the Carnival”, Thursday, June 9th, 10pm-5:30am.  Tickets $160.00.  Questions: Debbie Moran 909/638-9247 debmoran3@aol.com. There is also additional information available at the front desk. 
SENIORS-Please remember to turn in your honorary teacher and graduation audition paperwork to room 207 on or before March 10th. Please keep in mind that there is no school on March 11th.
 
 
PARENTS
PARENTS- The Bonita High School Accounting Students, in collaboration with the California Board of Equalization, would like to invite you to the Free Income Tax Preparation and Family Resources Fair on Friday, March 18th. Please call 1-866-910-9559 for an appointment to get your taxes done or follow the link http://www.boe.ca.gov/members/horton/events/ to make an appointment online. 
PARENTS – Coffee with the Principal is today, Friday, March 4th at 8:00am in the conference room.  Please join us to discuss topics on the BHS campus in an open forum.
PARENTS – If you were not able to purchase a senior dedication in December this is your final chance.  Yearbook will be accepting Senior Dedications for a limited time the deadline is today, Friday, March 4th.  Please see the yearbook page on school website to print the order form. Please note that every full page AD helps every senior receive a book.  Payments need to be made to the finance office.  Thanks for supporting the yearbook!
PARENTS OF INCOMING FRESHMEN – Parent Information Night is Tuesday, March 15th.  Sports and Activities Information Fair at 4:30pm; we will have representatives from our athletic and activity programs.  Parents will be able to sign up to receive information on summer programs.  Taco Man will be on campus, please join us for dinner.  At 6:30pm there will be a general information meeting for parents in the gym. 
PARENTS – April 4th– 8th is Spring Recess.
PARENTS – Summer School is June 13th thru July 15th.  
 
 
ACTIVITIES
 
GIRLS SOCCER – banquet will be Wednesday, March, 9th, 6pm – 9-pm, at Sierra La Verne Country Club.  The cost is $25 per person in the Finance Office, the deadline to purchase tickets will be February 25th.  Tickets will NOT be sold at the door.  If you have any questions please contact; Jenny White at jenny.white242@verizon.net
BOYS SOCCER – Please note the date of the banquet has been changed.  Our end of the year banquet will be on Monday, April 11 from 6-9:30pm at Sierra La Verne Country Club.  The cost is $25 per person (player or guest), checks are payable to Bonita High in the Finance Office.  The deadline for purchasing tickets is Friday, March 18.  Any questions, please contact Mike Mumford at mmikeford@gmail.com.  
STUDENTS – Car Show, Saturday, March 19th, at Bonita High School Student Parking lot.
JAZZ BAND – The Bonita High School Jazz Band will be performing at the Historical Fox Theater in Pomona in March 13, 2016 from 3-6 PM. Tickets are $20 and include appetizers and beverages. Please visit www.lvbba.org for more information or you can call Amanda at 626-616-8130.
 
ATHLETICS
BOYS CIF FINAL BASKETBALL GAME – is Saturday, March 5th at 4:00 at the Honda Center in Anaheim. Tickets are on sale in the office, cash only.  General Admission is $18; Students with I.D. are $10 and without ID are $18; children 13 and under are $10.  You may still purchase your tickets on game day at the Honda Center, same prices and cash only.  Parking is $16.
 
ROOTER BUS – cost is $20 with ASB, includes ticket and bus; $28 without ASB.  Bus will leave Saturday, March 5th at 1:30. Permission slips are available at the front desk.
