Student Release at 2:35 PM

Attention Parents- Tomorrow during 2nd period our junior and Senior class Students will be attending a follow up meeting from our every 15 minutes car crash reenactment. This Meeting is a closed meeting and will only be open to Students. Thank you for your understanding.

STUDENTS- Don’t miss out on an EXHILAR18 year!  Yearbooks are still available for purchase at the finance office for $120.  There are about 200 left for purchase so reserve yours today.  Yearbooks will be distributed in the Student Union afterschool to seniors on May 29th and everyone else on May 30th.

STUDENTS- the Finance Office will now only accept cash and debit or credit cards.  No checks.

STUDENTS- Our Student parking lot is now full for the 2017-2018 school year. We will not be accepting any more parking permit applications or payments for parking permits.

PARENTS

PARENTS- We do not accept drop off/forgotten items in the front office. If you need to get an item to your Student, please coordinate with your child to meet in the Office during break or lunch.

 ACTIVITIES

 SENIOR SUNSET- is Thursday, May 31 at 6:30 PM.  Come out to the football stadium for pizza, dessert, games and watch the sun set on our last school day as Bearcats.                                     

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               SENIORS- Azusa Pacific University has extended their application deadline to June 1st.

ALL STUDENTS- Please remember that Saturday School and Friday School assignments must be cleared to attend prom.  See Mrs. Lindsay if you have any questions.

PROM- is this Saturday, May 26th from 7 Pm-11 PM at the Seacliff Country Club in Huntington Beach.

PTSA

PAVERS- PTSA Paver orders will be accepted up until May 31.  We only have a limited number of paver spots left. Orders will be accepted on a first come first serve bases. If you have any questions please email knox2go@gmail.com  See attached flyer for ordering.

CLOTHING DRIVE- It’s time for some spring cleaning! The PTSA is hosting a clothing drive on June 2nd and 3rd in the teacher’s lot. Please bring any new or lightly used clothes that are in good condition.

 

ATHLETICS

BASEBALL- The baseball banquet will be held on Thursday, May 31st at Mountain Meadows at 6 PM Golf Course. Cost is $27 per person due by Friday, May 25th.

SWIM banquet is May 30th at Hillcrest, 6:00 p.m.  Tickets are $25.00 (cash, debit or credit only, no checks) and are on sale in the Finance Office.  Last day of sales is May 25th no exceptions!  If you participated in the swim-a-thon and reached the free ticket level, you MUST still check in with the Finance Office to claim your free ticket.

TRACK & FIELD- banquet is June 5th at Hillcrest, 6:00 p.m.  Tickets are $10 (cash or debit or credit only) in the Finance Office.  Last day of sales is May 30th.

Senior Sunset; 6:30pm to 8:30pm

June 3 Baccalaureate at La Verne Heights Presbyterian Church at 3:00pm

June 4 Senior Day at Knott’s

June 7 Graduation at Glenn Davis Stadium at 6:00

June 7 Grad Night at Dave and Busters in Ontario, starting at 10:00pm until 5:00am

GRADUATION- Each senior will receive 6 tickets when they check-out with their counselor.  No extra tickets will be given to anyone and we do not sell tickets.  Be sure and ask your senior which side of the stadium they will sit on; Home (north) or Visitor (south)

On graduation day the gates will open at 5:00pm for ticket holders and by 6:00pm the non-ticket holders may come in.  There is no seat saving allowed, Handicap seating is on the track and one member of the person’s family may be seated with them.  There will be plenty of seating in the end zone for non-ticket holders.

Please note balloons and noise makers are not allowed in the stadium.  Seniors are only allowed to wear their school issued graduation regalia.  Other regalia purchased on their own and leis are not allowed.

 

SUMMER SCHOOL

STUDENTS WHO ARE CURRENTLY ENROLLED IN A SUMMER SCHOOL CLASS AT BONITA HIGH SCHOOL- Monday, June 11th, classes and room numbers will be posted on the attendance windows.  School begins at 7:35am and ends at 1:00pm.  There will be a 20 minute break from 10:10am to 10:30am during the school day and the student store will be open for purchases of snacks and drinks.

Please remember that students are allowed two absences and will be dropped on the third absence with no exception. Also, Students absent on the first day of summer school will be dropped and you will lose your spot in class.

ATTENTON ALL STUDENTS WHO ARE NOT CURRENTLY ENROLLED IN A SUMMER SCHOOL CLASS, BUT WOULD LIKE TO TRY AND ADD A CLASS- The gym at Bonita High School will open at 6:30am on Monday, June 11th for students trying to add a summer school class.  Students will be added to a list on a first come, first available basis.  Once school begins at 7:35, we will fill any open seats.  Once a class is closed, it will not be opened again.
