Every year in February the National Honor Society (NHS) and CSF members at Bonita High School run a book drive to collect books for both our school library and other libraries in under-served areas throughout the region.

We are collecting books for any age level from pre-school on up.

If you have any books you’d like to donate, please either drop them by room (P2), e-mail Mr Mullen (m.mullen@boita.k12.ca.us), or give them to an NHS or CSF member!

Last year NHS collected over 1,000 books and we would like to keep that tradition going.

This is one of the most popular service projects that NHS does. We have had principals and librarians from under-served schools come out to greet us crying as our students bring books to their schools. One librarian told me their school hadn’t received a new book in over 10 years.
