JUNIOR AND SENIOR STUDENTS– Are you interested in going to college out of state or out of the country? Sign up to attend the Out-of-State and International College Fair on Wednesday, October 18th. Please see Mrs. Nix in the Student Services office if you are interested in attending and to pick up a permission slip. You must turn in a permission slip and be in good academic standing with your teachers to attend. Space is limited.

JUNIOR AND SENIOR STUDENTS- If you are interested in signing up for the discounted Kaplan SAT Prep Course, you must do so by today, Monday, September 25th. We are not close to the required enrollment of 25 students. The $360 fee is a special discount only if we attain a minimum enrollment of 25 students. Refunds will be issued if we are not able to offer the course. Applications are available at the front desk with Mrs. Venegas.
STUDENTS- As a reminder, cellphones are not to be used during class time. You are allowed to use them before school, during passing periods, lunch, and after school. Cellphones in use during class time will be collected for Parent pick up and a detention will be issued as well. All cellphones can be picked up by a Parent only with Miss Castro in the Front Office.
STUDENTS AND PARENTS- We do not accept drop off/ forgotten items in the front office. If you need to get an item to your Student, please coordinate with your child to meet in the Office during break or lunch. See the attached bell schedule for times.

PARENTS OF SENIORS- If you did not get your portrait done over the summer, please make arrangements with PSS Photography before Saturday, October 14th in order to be included in the yearbook. Appointments can be made at (714) 630-7785. PSS Photography will require you come to them.
PARENTS OF SENIORS- The yearbook is currently accepting Senior Dedications at a special early bird price. If you are interested in purchasing a space in the yearbook for your senior, please visit https://theyearbookcompany.com to submit your information. It will prompt you to a page to order, please look for Bonita High School and enter our phone number, 909-971-8220 in order to access order page. Early bird pricing ends in November and space is first come first serve.
PARENTS- Please be advised that there is no pick up, drop off, or open parking in the south parking lot as this is an assigned staff parking lot. We thank you in advance for your understanding.
ACTIVITIES
D STREET DANCE CAMP- D Street dance team will be hosting a dance clinic on October 14th for kids ages 4-12. Dancers will then perform at a special dance concert on October 18th at the Bonita Center for the Arts. See attached flyer for details. Contact ogrady@bonita.k12.ca.us
HOMECOMING- will be October 14th from 7- 11 PM at M3Live in Anaheim. Tickets are on sale now from today, September 25th– September 29th tickets will be $50 per ticket with an ASB card and $60 without. Permission slips are at the front desk with Mrs. Venegas and must be signed by the library and administration (Drop off at Mrs. Castro’s desk) before tickets can be purchased in the Finance Office. Please make note that all Student accounts must be current in order to be able to purchase tickets as well.
PREVIOUS DANCE STUDENTS- If you have dance shoes that you are willing to donate back to the dance department for other students to use please bring them to Mrs. O’Grady at break in the old gym any time in September.
CAREER CENTER
STUDENTS- Please sign up with Mrs. O’Grady in the Career Center if you are interested in seeing one of these guests/representatives during the week at lunch.

STUDENTS- Free peer tutoring is available for all students, Monday-Thursday, from 2:45-3:45 PM. Evening tutoring is available as well on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 6-7 pm. No sign up required, just show up. Tutoring is held in the Library.
