On Tuesday, May 30th from 11am-12:09 (into 4th and until the end of 5th) at the student union, Bonita High School Automotive Department will be hosting Mazda Motorsports Pro Driver, Kenton Koch, and his presentation about defensive driving techniques.
The program is presented in partnership with Project Yellow Light which promotes distracted driver awareness, more specifically driving and texting.
Mrs Englert, Bonita’s Automotive instructor, is passionate about performance driving but even more passionate about keeping youth safe behind the wheel. There are so many distractions that young drivers encounter and defensive driving is a specific technique that can make them safe The students have a unique opportunity to learn important safety techniques from a professional driver.
