Bonita High School received a six-year clear accreditation during their most recent WASC validation visit, which is the highest accreditation status that a school can receive.  Only 1% of high schools in California earned a 6 year clear this year. Principal Derek Bub attributes the success of the WASC visit to the outstanding work and commitment from the BHS staff, students, parents and community members, as well as receiving continuous Bonita Unified School District support. This achievement is a testament to the school-wide focus on high-quality instruction, APEX honors Freshman Core program, the intervention support program, the PACE Senior Project and high-quality Visual and Performing Arts programs.
