STUDENTS

STUDENTS – You are cordially invited to BHS’s “Performance Showcase” at the Bonita Center for the Arts. On Thursday, January 28th and Friday the 29th, performances will begin promptly at 7:30 p.m.  You will be presented with a plethora of scenes, monologues, and improvisation! Tickets are $3 dollars for all ages.

STUDENTS – We are having a Black and White Ball.  Permission slips are available at the front desk and the Finance Office.  Cost starts at $10 per student with an ASB card and $15 without and increases on January 19th.  It will be held in the Bonita gym from 7pm–10 pm on Saturday, January 30th.  There will be Taco Man and a coffee bar for purchase at the event.  Dress is casual/semi-formal and we are encouraging students to wear black and white. 

STUDENTS – Save the date for the Spring show “The Mouse that Roared” with show dates March 3rd, 4th, and 5th

The show will take place at the Bonita Center for the Arts: 822 W Covina Blvd, San Dimas, CA 91773

COLLEGE AND CAREER

STUDENTS AND PARENTS – College Information Night will be Monday, January 25th at 7pm in the BHS gym.

STUDENTS – Two scholarships are available for Seniors from the California State PTA ~ $750 Volunteer Service Scholarship and $500 Dr. Ralph E. STUDENTS – Interested in applying to MT. SAC who have not yet attended the application workshop need to attend one of the make-up sessions in order to qualify for pre-registration. MT.SAC Application Workshop (make-up): Tuesday, January 26th – students can attend during either 1st or 2nd period in the Library.

STUDENTS – THE ASVAB CAREER EXPLORATION PROGRAM will be offered in the Library on January 29th beginning at 7:40am. The ASVAB is a career planning and exploration program that combines a multiple-aptitude test with an interest self-assessment and a wide range of career exploration tools. It is a great tool for all students. It is also specifically required for students wishing to enter the military in order to evaluate their career placement in the service. Students interested in taking the assessment should see Mrs. O’Grady in the Career Center or their counselor.
