The 2016-2017 academic year will be my fifth year teaching English and my first year teaching at BHS. Prior to teaching at BHS, I taught English for two years as a Teach For America corps member in the Las Vegas Valley and then for two years at a charter school in Los Angeles. Most recently, I worked as an Interface Designer and Project Manager for a tech company that developed a global anti-bullying and anti-harassment web and mobile app for K12 schools and universities. I am pumped to combine my tech and teaching experience here at Bonita.
Born and raised in Arcadia, I hold a Bachelor of Arts in English from Northwestern University and a Master of Education in Curriculum & Instruction from University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Outside of teaching, I love soccer, my dogs, Mac computers, Spotify playlists, air-conditioned yoga classes, and lots and lots of coffee.
