Class Description

Course Description: Chemistry is a complete introductory course designed to allow students the opportunity to observe how chemical principles and concepts are developed from experimental observations and data. This chemistry course will emphasize both the quantitative and the qualitative aspects of inorganic chemistry. Course Goals: This course is designed to allow students to gain a better understanding of the structure of matter. An appropriate amount of instructional time will be spent performing lab investigations and activities which allow students to experience and develop the scientific processes of observing, classifying, identifying, measuring, inferring, hypothesizing, interpreting data, controlling variables, communicating, developing models and theories, and predicting outcomes.
