STUDENTS

SENIORS AND PARENTS-  A FAFSA Workshop Night will take place on Wednesday, November 6th starting at 6:00 PM in the Library.  Parents can also reserve a spot to work on-line on your FAFSA that night – see attached flyer.

SENIORS- Jostens will be on campus Thursday & Friday, October 24 & 25 during lunchtime in the Quad to assist you in placing your order.  You can also order online at www.jostens.com or if you have any questions, you can contact us at 1/800-JOSTENS.

STUDENTS-  The Pre-ACT exam will be administered on campus on Saturday, November 16th – cost is $23 and payable in the Finance Office until Nov. 6.  See attached flyer.

SENIORS- The 2020 Young Legislators Program is open to high school seniors living in the 41st Assembly District. Applicants must commit to five monthly, 3-4 hour Saturday meetings starting in January 2020 and submit applications by November 13, 2019. STUDENTS- Mt SAC has free tutoring in Math & Science, Monday-Thursdays from 5:00-7:00pm.  Please call the Mt. SAC office at  (909) 274-4937 or see Mrs. Venegas at the front desk for more details.

PARENTS

PARENTS- We thank you and your family for being our valued partners as we work together to educate the children in our district. ​Bonita USD​ values input from our community – and we need to hear from your child(ren)! They are important partners as we work to improve our communication, academic program and overall experience for students and their families. See the attached document for more information and OPT OUT form.

PARENTS-  Parent/Teacher Conferences will take place Wednesday, October 30th, from 12:40 – 8:00 PM.  These are 10-minute time slots that will give you an opportunity to get an update on your child’s progress in each class.   Please visit www.bonitahigh.net to find the link to book your on-line appointment, or call Mrs. Nix at 909-971-8220 x2054.

PARENTS- We do not accept drop off or forgotten items in the front office and are unable to make exceptions. If you need to get an item to your Student, please coordinate with your child to meet in the front office during break or lunch. We will not be able to make exceptions. We appreciate your understanding.

PARENTS OF SENIORS-  If you would like to purchase a Senior Ad for the yearbook visit www.TheYearbookCompany.com.  Space is limited.  Early bird prices are until November 15th then prices go up.  Final day for placing an order is December 13th.  Thank you for supporting the yearbook.

 

CAREER CENTER

TUTORS- The after school tutoring program is looking for students to be tutors Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. If you are interested in applying see Mrs. O’Grady in the Career Center.

UNIVERSITY OF REDLANDS- will be in the Career Center today, October 24th. Please see Mrs. O’Grady in the Career Center to sign up.

ACTIVITIES

WRESTLING 5K- Thank you to all of you that supported the wrestling team at our restaurant fundraisers! Now we want to give you a chance to work off those calories! The wrestling team is bringing back our “Fall Up Run/Walk” 5K! It is going to be on Saturday, November 2nd starting at 9:00 am. Registration is from 7:30-8:30 am behind the old gym by the wrestling room door. Please see the attached flyer and registration form or talk to one of the wrestlers. The cost is $30 for pre-registration and $35 for walk up registrations.

CRV RECYCLING DAY-This Saturday, the 26th,  is the 2nd CRV Recycling Day of the year supporting the Marching Bearcats.  Bring your plastic, glass and aluminum to the teacher’s parking lot between 11am -1pm this Saturday.  All proceeds support the Marching Bearcats.

BASEBALL GOLF TOURNAMENT- Our BHS Baseball team will be hosting its annual golf tournament on November 16th at 8 Am at San Dimas Canyon Golf Course. Entry fees are $150 per person and include a banquet and a chance to win prizes!

HOMECOMING- will be at the Discovery Cube in Santa Ana on October 26th from 7 to 11 PM.  Tickets include admission to the dance. Transportation and food is not provided. Tickets are no longer on sale.

ATHLETICS

FIELD HOCKEY BANQUET- will be November 20th at Mountain Meadows Golf Course at 6 PM. Tickets are on sale in the finance office for $25 per person. Players do not need to purchase a ticket. The deadline to purchase tickets is November 11th.
