Compact Day, Students Dismissed at 1:35PM

 

STUDENTS 

STUDENTS- Ms. Contreras is looking for classroom aides 2-6th period. Please stop in at break or lunch if you are interested.

SOPHOMORES & JUNIORS-  Registration for the October PSAT to be held on campus in October is now open – cost is $30 and may be paid in the Finance Office through Monday, Sept. 9.  There is a limit of 350 students.  Pick up registration form at the front desk.

PARENTS

PARENTS OF SENIORS-  If you would like to purchase a Senior Ad for the yearbook visit www.TheYearbookCompany.com.  Space is limited.  Early bird prices are until November 15th then prices go up.  Final day for placing an order is December 13th.  Thank you for supporting the yearbook.

PARENTS- We do not accept drop off or forgotten items in the front office. If you need to get an item to your Student, please coordinate with your child to meet in the front office during break or lunch. We will not be able to make exceptions. We appreciate your understanding.

CAREER CENTER

MARINES- A rep from the Marines will be here during lunch on Wednesday, September 11th. Please see Mrs. O’Grady in the Career Center to sign up.

CARNEGIE MELLON- A rep from Carnegie Mellon will give a presentation during 7th period on Thursday, September 12th. Sign up in the Career Center with Mrs. O’Grady to attend. Carnegie Mellon is known for its programs in science and technology, but its seven schools and colleges include the College of Fine Arts and the Dietrich College of Humanities and Social Sciences.

COLLEGE VISITS- Please see the attached form for upcoming college visits. See Mrs. O’Grady in the Career Center at break or lunch to sign up.

ACTIVITIES

SMUDGEPOT FOOTBALL TICKETS- Tickets will be sold for the game at the front desk with Mrs. Venegas for our upcoming Smudgepot game vs. San Dimas High. Tickets are $10 per adult and $7 per child. Students with ASB are free. We will only be allowed to take cash payments for tickets sold in the office. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience. Office hours are 7:15 AM to 3:45 PM. The last day to purchase tickets in the office will be Friday, September 13th at 12 PM- Noon.

DODGEBALL- Our Dodgeball tournament will be September 17 – October 3rd.  If you’re interested in signing up, head over to the ASB room during break or after lunch.

ATHLETICS

BOYS BASKETBALL- All freshman and sophomore boys who are interested in playing basketball and are new to Bonita high school, please see Coach Godley  in Room 706 at break for information on tryouts.
