STUDENTS- The Fall 2018 CSF Membership Application is due by 3:00 PM on Tuesday, Sept. 11. The digital application is available on the CSF website, which you can access from the BHS website. Only current sophomores, juniors, and seniors can apply for membership this semester, and those who were members in previous semesters must reapply for membership every semester. ​See Miss Jacobsen in room 202 with questions.

JUNIORS AND SENIORS- Are you interested in learning more about Out-of-State or International Colleges? If so, sign up for a free “College 2 Career” college fair event happening on Tuesday, October 9th.  Field trip permission slips are available with Mrs. Nix in the Student Services Office. Space is limited to the first 50 students to return permission slips to Mrs. Nix.

KAPLAN ACT PREP COURSE- We are still taking looking to offer a Kaplan ACT Prep Course (the SAT course is now full.)  We need more students registered in order to offer this course. Deadline for registration is Tuesday, September 18th – cost is $360 and is payable in the Finance Office. Classes begin 1st week in October leading to ACT exam in late October – see attached flyer.

HOMECOMING- Homecoming will be Saturday, September 22nd at Highway 39 in Anahiem. The address is 1563 S. State College Blvd., Anaheim, CA 92806. Tickets are now on sale and are $50 with ASB and $55 without. The homecoming permission slip is available online at for BHS Students and  for BHS guest Students. Please print out the final page, which will still need to be signed by the finance office and library and turned in to Ms. Castro in the main office before tickets can be purchased. Ticket prices will not raise until September 17th, adjusting prices to $60 with ASB and $65 without. The last day to purchase tickets for homecoming will be Wednesday, September 19th.

KAPLAN SAT/ACT COMBO TEST- Deciding between the SAT or ACT? Take Kaplan’s SAT / ACT Combo test to help you decide. The test is Saturday September 15th from 9:00 – 12:45pm here at BHS. Cost is $20.00 and space is limited.  The deadline to register is Tomorrow, September 11th at the finance office. See the front desk for flyer and registration form.




PARENTS OF SENIORS-If you would like to purchase ad space for your senior in this year’s yearbook, please visit the Bonita High School website and click the “parents” tab or visit for more information. Early bird pricing is until Tuesday, November 6th and space is limited.

PARENTS- We do not accept drop off/forgotten items in the front office. If you need to get an item to your Student, please coordinate with your child to meet in the Office during break or lunch. We will not be able to make exceptions. We appreciate your understanding.



STUDENTS- The following schools will be visiting the Career Center this week. Please sign up with Mrs. O’Grady’s sub, Ms. Mireles-Torres if you are interested in attending their presentation. Keep your eye out for posters with the list of schools coming for the month.

BHS BOOSTERS- It is not too late to join our Athletic Boosters.  Our first meeting will be this Thursday, September 14th at 6:30pm in the Library. Support your team and attend a booster meeting.

REFLECTIONS ART COMPETITION- This years PTSA art relections competition will be on the theme “Heroes Around Me”. Submissions are due to Mrs.Venegas at the front desk by Friday, September 14th. Please see the attached for entry form and rules.

BENEFIT APP- Another way to support the Bonita PTSA is to get the benefit app. Use the app to make purchases at your favorite stores at no cost to you and Bonita PTSA will receive a percentage. Please see Mrs. Venegas at the front desk for more information.
