Class Description

In one semester we will examine the basic concepts geography while building a base understanding on where and why things are located around the world. My goal is to build a more current profile of the world by focusing on the human geography. Human geography emphasizes on the distribution, processes, and effects of human populations on the planet. By the end of the course, students should be more geo-literate, more engaged in contemporary global issues, and more multicultural in their viewpoints. This course will help you pass the AP Human Geography Exam if you choose to take it in the future.
