Bonita High School

Hello All,

My name is Mr. Salluce, and I will be teaching Freshman English I this year. As a new addition to Bonita High School, I am thrilled to be part of the Bearcat family and the greater community here in La Verne. I love teaching English because it is a discipline that allows students to question, refine, and express their thoughts, opinions, and views of the world. 

A little bit about me - I love being in nature, and have a deep appreciation for the beauty of the natural world. I love animals, both domestic and wild, and spend a significant amount of my free time playing with my cat Saphira and my dog Glaedr (brownie points if you can identify the fantasy series that inspired my pets' names). As you may have deduced, I am an avid reader and especially enjoy the fantasy genre. 

I can be reached at any time by email, and will typically respond within the same day during the school week and within 24 hours on weekends and breaks. I welcome parent communication, but encourage students to take ownership of communication regarding assignments, grades, and other class-related topics.
