STUDENTS – CSF applications are available in front of room 208.   They are due back this Friday, February 5th.

STUDENTS – Registration for Advance Placement Tests is from Wednesday, February 3rd through Tuesday, March 2nd.  The cost is $92 per exam.  There is a fee reduction for students enrolled the free/reduced lunch program.  Payments can be made in the Finance office.

STUDENTSDid you have a job last year?  The accounting kids can do your taxes for free. Please see Mrs. Sekhri in room 906 for more information.

STUDENTS – Save the date for the Spring Show “The Mouse that Roared” with show dates March 3rd, 4th, and 5th.  The show will take place at the Bonita Center for the Arts: 822 W Covina Blvd, San Dimas, CA 91773

STUDENTS-Pre-registration: All students in grades 9-11 will be receiving pre-registration materials in their English classes on Monday, February 8th.  Students must register on-line (until midnight Monday, February 15th), and must also submit the hard copy of the pre-registration form (last page of the packet) on Tuesday, February 16th.  Students will meet with their counselors to review their selections according to the schedule below:

11th graders: Feb 19 – 26

10th graders: Mar 1 – 4

9th graders: Mar 7-10

In addition, there will be an Electives Fair in the quad on Wednesday, February 10th during period 5 and lunch so that students can obtain valuable information about prospective elective courses.

SENIOR Students and Parents: Need help submitting the FAFSA Application? We will be holding 2- Evening Workshops for families needing assistance with the process.

PARENTSCoffee with the Principal is this Friday, February 5th, 8:00am to 9:00am in the conference room.  Please come and discuss topics on the BHS campus in an open forum.

PARENTS – On February 22nd the La Verne Police Dept will be hosting a Social Media for Parent Night at Bonita High School.  The event will be from 6:30pm to 9:00pm, please see attached flyer.  The intention for the event is to give our parents an understanding of the dangers of social media, how our children are using it, and the latest trends.  This is a parent only event, food and free babysitting will be provided on site by the city.

PARENTS – Our minimum day on Monday, February 29 has been rescheduled to the week before on Tuesday, February 23.  Students will be released at 12:00 p.m.

 

ACTIVITIES

STUDENTS – CAREER DAY SPEAKERS NEEDED: We are looking for community members, parents, and industry professionals who can volunteer their time to share their career choices with students in grades 9-12.
